About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at United Response, providing person-centred support to a young lady with cerebral palsy in Epsom, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide active support to the individual, promoting independence and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and accompaniment to leisure activities.
  • Use a digital app called Nourish to track care and support plans, with training provided for those without experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the individual's needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
  • Passion for supporting people with disabilities and commitment to our values of being united, responsive, creative, honest, and strong.
  • Patience, resilience, and ability to invest time in getting to know the individual and their needs.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and participate in sleep-ins.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £13.15 (plus 12.03% rolled-up holiday pay).
