About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care to our residents.

Your focus will be on ensuring the dignity and respect of each resident, while also recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls. You will act courteously towards residents and their visitors, and practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You must also be able to demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home. Additionally, you will need to be an efficient worker who can carry out reasonable instructions from other team members.

We offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within your role. Our ideal candidate will be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Please note that this role will require a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. You will also need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
