Position Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our nursing team within the General Surgery Unit. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing elective surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and the clinical team in delivering patient-centered care.
  • Support patients throughout their surgical journey in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe and compassionate care.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • SVQ Level 2 or a willingness to complete it within the first year of employment.
  • Relevant experience in a caring environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Training and Development

We offer a variety of training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. Our experienced team members will support you in achieving the mandatory induction standards for Health Care Support Workers in Scotland, ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
