Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in technical sales within the HVAC industry, specifically in central plant cooling or heating solutions. Experience in selling to high-value project specifications through consultants, architects, and specialist M&E specifiers is essential.

Sales Approach

This position requires a consultative and solution-oriented sales approach, managing the entire process for large-scale commercial heating and cooling projects through the RIBA specification stages.

Position Details

This newly created role is a result of significant growth within a global provider of water-cooled air conditioning and chiller systems. The successful candidate will maintain existing relationships with specifiers and cultivate new connections primarily with mechanical consultants, architects, and M&E specialists involved in major commercial projects.

Product Portfolio

As a Sales Engineer, you will represent an industry-leading product range, including energy-efficient water-cooled central plant systems, chillers, and precision cooling solutions, integrating renewable technologies.

Compensation Package

The remuneration for this role includes:

  • Base salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000
  • On-target earnings of approximately £90,000
  • Company car, mobile device, and laptop
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare and a pension plan with over 10% contribution
Experience Requirements

This role demands a high level of specialization, so candidates should have a successful sales history in HVAC, chillers, or commercial heat pumps. A degree in engineering (MEng or BEng) or relevant HVAC qualifications will be advantageous, though not mandatory. Familiarity with the RIBA specification process is beneficial.
