We are seeking a skilled Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join our Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland (CAMHS) Crisis Home Treatment Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide home treatment interventions for children, young people, and their families, working flexibly across the city and county to visit young people in the community.
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior mental health practitioners, managing a community caseload and providing a professional, non-stigmatising service to children and families. You will be responsible for understanding young people's mental health needs, having excellent communication skills, and being self-motivated and organised.
We offer a supportive and nurturing environment, with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic. As a team, we provide enhanced supervision and training to support you in your new role, and you will have the opportunity to complete your preceptorship in post.
Main Responsibilities- Provide home treatment interventions for children, young people, and their families.
- Work flexibly across the city and county, visiting young people in the community.
- Manage a community caseload under the guidance of senior mental health practitioners.
- Provide a professional, non-stigmatising service to children and families.
- Adhere to Trust Policies in consideration of Children in Need and safeguarding issues.
- Participate in management and clinical supervision, attend case discussion and reflective practice, and in-house training.
