Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Vita Health Group. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) while working with a diverse range of clients.

Our Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to provide evidence-based treatment to clients with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. You will work closely with experienced supervisors and a motivated team of mental health professionals to complete both your academic study and clinical delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Low Intensity CBT-based interventions while undertaking the graduate/post-graduate certificate in Low-Intensity Psychological Interventions.
  • Utilize CBT techniques in the treatment of common mental health difficulties.
  • Conduct telephone work and remote clinical practice.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or evidence of previous successful study at Regulated Qualifications Framework Level 3 or above.
  • At least 1 year paid or volunteer work in a mental health setting for those with an undergraduate degree.
  • Evidence of interpersonal skills, openness to learning, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • A Disclosure and Barring check (DBS) will be required.
