About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, while also sourcing and developing new business opportunities in the Yorkshire territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company and take responsibility for the sale of heavy plant machinery in the Yorkshire territory
  • Maximize profit potential on each sale
  • Achieve agreed sales targets as specified
  • Provide all necessary information to the sales support department to facilitate order processing and machine delivery
  • Carry out new machine demonstrations in line with company procedure
  • Accurate and timely completion of all sales-related documents, including warranty and service contracts
  • Utilize and maintain CRM system encompassing call planning, sales opportunities, market intelligence, competitive activity, and forecasting
  • Attend and engage in shows and exhibitions as required
  • Maintain close liaison with customers and other company departments to ensure the promotion of exemplary customer service

Requirements:

  • Experience in plant sales and proven sales success
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication and excellent presentation skills
  • Results-driven and able to work independently
  • Experience of working with a CRM system (desirable)
  • Undertaken sales training or can demonstrate development of sales skills (desirable)
