Key Responsibilities- Run local clinics to see service users and photograph their eyes to assess for diabetic retinopathy
- Provide empathetic and personalized care to patients, discussing their health and eye images in a clear and concise manner
- Work independently in a sometimes pressured environment, requiring a cool head and excellent problem-solving skills
- Support patients in understanding their eye health and providing guidance on next steps
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and complete necessary qualifications
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Previous experience working with the public is ideal
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including grades A-C in English, Maths, and a Science subject or equivalent
