Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.

Working Hours: Our full-time position is typically over 4 days with a mix of earlies and lates (1-2 per week) and 2 in 5 weekends (one full Saturday only). We have one duty night per week of inpatients. There is no out-of-hours. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. We would welcome both full or part-time applicants and are happy to be flexible and work together to find a rota that would work for you.

Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
