Carbon60 is seeking to hire a Customer Billing Specialist for a prominent utilities organization.


POSITION:
Customer Billing Specialist

SALARY:
£14 per hour, approximately £27,000 annually (PAYE)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
4 months with potential for extension

WORK LOCATION:
Reading (RG1)

WORK HOURS:
Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

WORKING ARRANGEMENT:
Hybrid model - currently 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. This position is not fully remote.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility is to oversee the customer billing process.
Tasks include generating, dispatching, and monitoring invoices.
Responsible for data entry, ensuring precision in data management, and maintaining customer records.
Timely processing of payments and reconciling accounts receivable.
Handling customer inquiries via email and occasional phone communication.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent Customer Service
Proficient Data Entry
Understanding of Accounting Principles
Strong Attention to Detail
Effective Problem Solving
Good IT Proficiency.
