Job Summary


CSG Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide professional support and advice to our clients, schools, and academies, ensuring they receive the best possible service.


Main Responsibilities


• Provide expert HR support and guidance to clients, schools, and academies, including preparing and assisting with Employee Relations cases, Hearings, Appeals, and Employment Tribunals.


• Conduct investigations and work alongside investigating officers to resolve grievances, harassment, bullying, and discipline issues.


• Collaborate with schools during their transition from school to academy status, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with TUPE legislation.


• Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures related to employment matters and casework.


• Participate in the recruitment process for Head Teachers and other staff, as required.


• Design, deliver, and evaluate training sessions for school-based staff, governors, and clients to ensure effective implementation of employment legislation, education staffing regulations, and best practice in staff management.


Requirements


• Proven continuing professional development in Human Resources and Employment Law.


• Significant experience working in HR, with a strong customer focus.


• Practical experience advising on complex disciplinary, grievance, bullying, and harassment, capability, redundancy, TUPE, and terms and conditions of employment issues.


• Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.


Working Arrangements


• Monday to Friday, with the possibility of part-time work.


• Requirement to hold a full UK driving license and own transport for travel to meetings.
