About Us:
Brook Street Social Care is a dedicated organization committed to providing support for vulnerable young individuals aged 10 to 18.

Our establishment caters to those referred to us following legal proceedings, whether placed on remand or sentenced to a period of detention.

We also provide secure accommodation for those requiring safety.

Role Overview:
In the capacity of Team Manager, you will oversee a diverse staff team within our eight-bedded secure children's home.

Your primary focus will be to guarantee the quality of care for young individuals while promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and trauma-informed practices.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and motivate a team of 21 residential staff, nurturing a culture of solution-oriented and trauma-informed practices.

2. Manage the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring efficient staff and resource deployment.

3. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and formulate suitable interventions.

4. Establish and sustain effective partnerships with external agencies to ensure integrated service delivery.

5. Coordinate and participate in reviews for young individuals in collaboration with key stakeholders.

About You:
We are in search of a resilient and compassionate leader possessing the following qualifications and attributes:

• Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (Level 3 NVQ equivalent).

• Experience in residential or youth justice settings, day/night-based.

• Understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to change and drive practice enhancements.

• Driving license required.
