Job Title: Residential Team Leader

Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Team Leader to join our team at our ABI Residential service in Bramley, Leeds. As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Service and Deputy manager in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans, including assessments and risk assessments for new individuals.
  • Encourage individuals to take an active role in daily living and ensure the appropriate level of care and support is identified.
  • Manage the review and maintenance of support plans to ensure ongoing suitability of support.
  • Assist with individuals' care, including personal care and bathing, to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Participate in and assist with planning and arranging individuals' daily outings, holidays, or recreational pursuits.
  • Build working relationships and engage in positive communication with individuals, families, advocates, and other professional colleagues.
  • Undertake and/or assist with household activities, such as cooking, mealtimes, laundering, and cleaning, to promote a healthy environment.
  • Record and complete documentation to ensure accurate and informative individual records.
  • Ensure individuals have up-to-date medications and MAR charts, in accordance with the company's Administration of Medication Policy.
  • Maintain compliance and support of staff through coordination and completion of supervision, appraisal, and team meetings.
  • Attend, participate, and contribute to relevant multi-disciplinary meetings for individuals.
