Job Title: Residential Team Leader

Voyage Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Team Leader to join our team at our Bramley, Leeds location. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our service users and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Planning: Develop and implement individualized support plans, including assessments and risk assessments, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered.
  • Care Delivery: Provide direct care and support to service users, including personal care, medication management, and daily living activities.
  • Communication: Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, advocates, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including support plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge and contribute to the professional development of the care team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
