We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at OH Sourcing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programmes and policies in compliance with legal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Facilitate training sessions for employees on safety practices, including first aid procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in legislation related to workplace safety.
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
