Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Specialist Doctor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team in Weymouth. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive community-based services to young people up to the age of 18 registered with general practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality mental health assessments and treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to clinical governance guidelines.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and have completed specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Previous experience working within a community mental health setting is highly desirable.
