Job Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to become a vital part of our growing Infrastructure division, focusing on delivering significant projects within the Rail sector.

This position is ideal for a Project Controls Engineer with a background in Rail or Transport, who has demonstrated success in managing complex infrastructure projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Project Controls Engineer will collaborate with our project controls team on a prominent aviation initiative, providing essential performance reporting and analytical support. This role may involve working within a larger team or serving as the primary point of contact for clients on a daily basis.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Key tasks include partnering with cost and planning engineers to create work breakdown structures and establish solid performance baselines, implementing progress and cost monitoring techniques, generating project control reports, and offering performance analysis along with actionable recommendations for our clients.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience in a project controls setting on major projects or programs within the Infrastructure sector (preferably Rail) is advantageous. Candidates should possess a thorough understanding and experience in:

  • Earned value management, progress updates, cost control, change management, baseline oversight, reporting, and P6 environments.

Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, planning software such as Primavera, and reporting databases.
  • Familiarity with financial and procurement systems like Oracle and SAP, as well as web-based project control tools.
  • A relevant degree with some applicable work experience or proven experience in a project control environment.
  • Senior Project Controls Engineers should be proactive, self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and analytical capabilities.
