Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Supervisor to join our rapidly expanding global data management team at Mondrian Alpha, a market leading global hedge fund.

About the Role: As a Data Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding, analysis, and quality management of large datasets brought onto our platform. You will work closely with the Global Head of Data, technology teams, and data vendor teams to ensure seamless data transmission and improve data governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run data onboarding, analysis, and quality management for large datasets
  • Oversee data pipeline processing and support data users internally
  • Work with technology teams to streamline transmission and improve data governance processes
  • Perform root cause analysis to improve data quality
  • Take on projects to improve data pipeline functionality

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data operations, or data quality
  • Excellent academic profile and coding skills in Python, Matlab, R, SQL, or VBA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

What We Offer: Mondrian Alpha is committed to offering a competitive salary and a year one target bonus range that will make up a large percentage of your base number. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and autonomous role with a strong focus on data quality and governance.

Working Arrangements: The successful candidate will be expected to work a 5-day office week initially, with the possibility of working from home 1-2 days per week once established.
