Azure Cloud Security Lead

As the Azure Cloud Security Lead within the Threat Vulnerability and Security Operations team, you will oversee the management of vulnerabilities across essential services utilized by clients and internal teams worldwide. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary contact for Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, and Technical Security Testing (such as Penetration Testing), while also providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a team of three professionals.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the investigation and resolution of identified vulnerabilities, performing root cause analyses for vulnerabilities linked to critical incidents, and driving prioritization and risk mitigation efforts. You will collaborate with various teams to conduct vulnerability risk assessments.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home for part of the week while joining colleagues in the office for team meetings and stakeholder discussions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, with a solid understanding of vulnerabilities, threats, countermeasures, and Patch Management in support of Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing small teams and technical projects, including providing mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating career development.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SIEM/SOAR tools, particularly Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Security suite, including Microsoft Defender for Azure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for collaborating within Agile teams.
  • Possession of relevant Azure certifications, such as AZ-104 or AZ-204.
