Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Administration Team Manager to join our team at Northrop Grumman UK. As a key member of our National Security Solutions Operations Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our facilities and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the company's facilities strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team of facilities and administration professionals, overseeing day-to-day activities across all Northrop Grumman UK sites.
  • Provide support to other facilities teams as needed, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain building manuals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage the suppliers' database, ensuring permits to work and associated evidence are properly documented.
  • Supervise contractors, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with security to arrange clearance and escort for maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of purchase requisitions for facilities and administration-related expenses.
  • Coordinate office planning and relocation efforts, working closely with project managers.
  • Manage facilities cost budgets, reporting monthly to the Head of Operations.
  • Provide out-of-hours CCTV monitoring and primary point of contact for alarm system maintenance.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • Proven experience in facilities and/or health and safety roles.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Highly organized with strong administration skills.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office tools, databases, and e-learning solutions.
  • Valid UK driving license.
