About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative (Relief) to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish sanitary supplies as needed, and ensure that all areas are well-stocked with necessary cleaning materials.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a polished appearance and ensure that all areas are well-maintained.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary to ensure that all areas are well-stocked.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the level of service provided.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and materials, as well as the ability to use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
