Role Overview:
As a SAP Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical direction and architectural expertise on SAP-focused initiatives, with a particular emphasis on migration strategies to advanced SAP platforms.
Your responsibilities will encompass the formulation of a reference architecture for the primary ecosystem, ensuring coherence with IT governance and overarching strategic aims.
You will collaborate closely with the IT Department and fellow Solution Architects to achieve successful project outcomes that align with the organization's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership:
Spearhead the creation and execution of the reference architecture for SAP migration initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the comprehensive IT ecosystem.
SAP Expertise:
Deliver profound technical knowledge in SAP platforms, steering the design, development, and deployment of solutions across diverse SAP environments.
Project Management:
Partner with project managers to synchronize SAP-related initiatives with business goals, timelines, and financial plans, ensuring that all technical components meet established standards.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other architects, product managers, and executive leadership, to guarantee successful project delivery and alignment with strategic business objectives.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure that all architectural designs adhere to IT governance policies, standards, and best practices, particularly in the context of SAP systems.
Key Skills and Experience:
Relevant experience with SAP ES systems and S4HANA migration. Proficient in developing and establishing a reference architecture for SAP environments.
Extensive background with SAP platforms and associated technologies.
Demonstrated success in solution architecture, especially in large-scale SAP migrations and integrations.
Strong grasp of IT governance frameworks and their application in architectural design.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a varied audience.
The ideal candidate should possess experience in similar roles within large organizations, focusing on SAP solution architecture.
