Role Summary:

Uniting Ambition is in search of a seasoned Solution Architect with profound SAP knowledge. This role is pivotal for the effective deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) within a cloud framework, preparing for a future transition to SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP EWM implementations, upgrades across the SAP suite, and a comprehensive understanding of S/4HANA migration methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SAP EWM Implementation: Direct the ongoing SAP EWM initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals during the shift from on-premises to a cloud solution.
  • Project Assessment and Enhancement: Evaluate the current project landscape, identify risks, and provide expert recommendations to maintain project momentum.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Work closely with key stakeholders to ascertain business requirements, translating these into technical solutions that enhance warehouse management operations.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Deliver hands-on technical guidance in configuring and optimizing SAP EWM, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules.
  • Plan for S/4HANA Migration: Create and document a strategic roadmap for the forthcoming migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring the current SAP EWM setup is primed for transition.
  • Advise on SAP Suite Upgrades: Contribute to the upgrade processes of SAP suites, ensuring compatibility and optimization with the new EWM framework while preparing for the S/4HANA transition.
  • Asset Management Insights: Provide strategies and insights for effective asset management within the SAP ecosystem, leveraging best practices to boost operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Generate thorough documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure continuity after the engagement.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP EWM implementations, including at least one cloud-based deployment.
  • Robust background in SAP suite upgrades and asset management.
  • Significant experience in strategizing and executing migrations to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in guiding projects at various stages, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EWM and its integration with other SAP modules.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP environments and transitioning from on-premises solutions.
  • Strong grasp of SAP architecture and the capability to design solutions that fulfill business needs.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration strategies, tools, and best practices.
