Position Summary:

Uniting Ambition is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with robust SAP expertise. This role is essential for the effective deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) within a cloud infrastructure, paving the way for a future migration to SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP EWM projects, SAP suite enhancements, and a comprehensive understanding of S/4HANA migration methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP EWM Implementation: Direct the ongoing SAP EWM initiative, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals during the transition to a cloud-based framework.
  • Project Assessment and Enhancement: Evaluate the current project landscape, identify potential challenges, and provide expert recommendations to maintain project momentum.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with critical stakeholders to ascertain business requirements, translating these into technical solutions that enhance warehouse management efficiency.
  • Technical Direction: Deliver hands-on technical guidance in the configuration and optimization of SAP EWM, ensuring effective integration with other SAP modules.
  • S/4HANA Migration Strategy: Formulate and document a strategic roadmap for the forthcoming migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring a seamless transition from the existing SAP EWM setup.
  • SAP Suite Enhancement: Provide insights and contribute to the upgrade of SAP suites, ensuring compatibility and optimization with the new EWM framework while preparing for the S/4HANA transition.
  • Asset Management Insights: Share strategies and best practices for effective asset management within the SAP ecosystem, enhancing operational performance.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure continuity following the engagement.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP EWM implementations, including at least one cloud-based deployment.
  • Strong background in SAP suite upgrades and asset management within the SAP framework.
  • Significant experience in planning and executing migrations to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in steering projects midway through, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EWM and its integration with other SAP modules.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP environments and transitioning from on-premises solutions.
  • Strong grasp of SAP architecture and the capability to design solutions that fulfill business needs.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration strategies, tools, and best practices.
