Role Summary:

Uniting Ambition is in search of a seasoned Solution Architect with profound SAP knowledge. This position is pivotal for the effective deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) within a cloud infrastructure, with plans to transition the entire system to SAP S/4HANA in the upcoming year. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP EWM projects, SAP suite enhancements, and a comprehensive understanding of S/4HANA migration methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in SAP EWM Deployment: Direct the ongoing SAP EWM initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals during the shift from on-premises to a cloud-based framework.
  • Project Assessment and Enhancement: Evaluate the current project landscape, pinpoint potential challenges, and offer expert recommendations to keep the project trajectory on course.
  • Engagement with Stakeholders: Work closely with key stakeholders to grasp business requirements, translating these into technical solutions that enhance warehouse management operations.
  • Technical Guidance: Deliver hands-on technical direction in configuring and refining SAP EWM, ensuring effective integration with other SAP components.
  • Migration Strategy for S/4HANA: Formulate and document a strategic approach for the forthcoming migration to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring a seamless transition from the current SAP EWM configuration.
  • Upgrading SAP Suites: Provide insights and contribute to the enhancement of SAP suites, ensuring compatibility and optimization with the new EWM setup while preparing for the S/4HANA transition.
  • Asset Management Strategies: Share insights and methodologies for effective asset management within the SAP ecosystem, utilizing best practices to boost operational efficiency.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure continuity following the engagement.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP EWM implementation, including at least one cloud-based project.
  • Strong foundation in SAP suite upgrades and asset management within the SAP framework.
  • Extensive experience in strategizing and executing migrations to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in steering projects mid-course, identifying deficiencies, and applying corrective actions.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EWM and its integration with other SAP modules.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions and the transition from on-premises systems.
  • Strong grasp of SAP architecture and the capability to design solutions that fulfill business requirements.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration strategies, tools, and industry best practices.
