Role Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading and enhancing the firm's Commercial Real Estate services in Scotland. With a well-established clientele, the incoming Partner will engage with a variety of clients, including major developers, investors, corporate tenants, and public sector organizations.

Key duties will encompass:

  • Overseeing and expanding a portfolio of distinguished clients.
  • Guiding and mentoring a team of skilled real estate attorneys.
  • Implementing business development strategies and uncovering new avenues for expansion.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive service delivery to clients.
  • Offering strategic counsel on intricate real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Commercial Real Estate Partner with a solid history in the Scottish market; however, those at Senior Associate or Director levels will also be considered. They should possess a deep understanding of the local real estate landscape and demonstrate proficiency in managing high-value transactions. A robust network within the industry and a dedication to client service are essential attributes.

Essential qualifications and skills include:

  • Significant experience as a Director or Partner in a Commercial Real Estate practice.
  • Qualified Solicitor in Scotland.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Scottish commercial property sector.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development.
  • A client-focused mindset with an emphasis on delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
