Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading and expanding the firm's Commercial Property services in Scotland. With a well-established client portfolio, the incoming Partner will engage with a diverse array of clients, including major developers, investors, corporate tenants, and public sector organizations.
Key duties will encompass:
- Overseeing and enhancing a portfolio of prestigious clients.
- Leading and nurturing a team of skilled real estate attorneys.
- Implementing business development strategies and uncovering new avenues for expansion.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive service delivery to clients.
- Offering strategic counsel on intricate real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Senior Commercial Property Partner with a solid history in the Scottish market; however, applications from individuals at Senior Associate or Director levels will also be welcomed. A comprehensive understanding of the local real estate environment and proficiency in managing high-value transactions are essential. A robust network within the industry and a commitment to client service are critical attributes.
Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Significant experience as a Director or Partner in a Commercial Property practice.
- Scottish Qualified Solicitor.
- Thorough knowledge of the Scottish commercial property landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- A client-focused mindset with an emphasis on achieving superior outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
