Job Overview

In this position, you will lead the Business Continuity Management (BCM) planning initiatives utilizing Fusion Software to develop effective and innovative strategies.

By driving the ongoing growth and sophistication of our BCM program, you will provide essential insights and facilitate the evolution of its framework.

You will play a pivotal role in testing our Business Continuity programs, ensuring their effectiveness while identifying areas for process enhancement to bolster resilience.

With a solid understanding of regional BC regulatory requirements, you will keep abreast of industry standards and integrate them seamlessly into our operational practices.

Leading the assessment and revision of our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across various regions, you will evaluate recovery needs and business impacts during disruptions. Furthermore, you will enhance our Business Continuity Plans by incorporating modifications to business operations and recovery necessities, ensuring our systems are appropriately aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for BCM planning, employing Fusion Software to craft effective and innovative strategies that guarantee business continuity and resilience.
  • Propel the continuous advancement and sophistication of the BCM program by offering valuable insights, refining its content, and remaining at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Direct the testing of Business Continuity programs, assessing their effectiveness and pinpointing process improvements to enhance resilience and preparedness for potential disruptions.
  • Stay informed about regional BC regulatory requirements and integrate them into our operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Initiate and manage the review and update of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across multiple regions, evaluating recovery needs and business impacts to maintain optimal response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate changes to business operations and recovery requirements, ensuring Business Continuity Plans accurately reflect the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Foster a culture of preparedness and awareness by providing training, guidance, and support to employees, encouraging a resilient mindset and proactive approach to business continuity.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Continuity Management, with a proven record of successfully implementing BCM strategies and programs in complex organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of BCM planning methodologies, tools, and frameworks, particularly in leveraging technology solutions such as Fusion Software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regional BC regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Proficient in conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and developing recovery requirements to assess and mitigate potential business disruptions.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate testing exercises for Business Continuity Plans, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to think critically and creatively in dynamic environments, effectively mitigating risks and enhancing resilience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, executives, and external partners to drive alignment and promote a culture of business continuity.
