Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing consolidated and subsidiary statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under IFRS.
- Develop expertise in our consolidated reporting system, Magnitude, and provide support to the wider accounting team.
- Prepare the monthly consolidated cash flow for the UK.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and CIS tax.
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager on reporting and projects.
- Support annual internal and external audits.
- Conduct KPI reporting for future bids and tenders.
- Support the Assistant Financial Accounts with tasks such as fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Act as the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirements.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and preparation of accounts under IFRS.
- Familiarity with financial reporting systems, ideally Magnitude.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns, and CIS tax.
- Ability to support both internal and external audits.
- Competence in KPI reporting and technical accounting.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
