Join Our Team as a Technical Training Specialist

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: £38,000 - £40,000

Location: Cannock

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical training programs for Briggs engineers, affiliated companies, and external clients across the UK.
  • Create and facilitate training sessions on both new and existing products.
  • Conduct training at various strategic sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop a personalized training schedule with the support of an administrative team.
  • Update the Learning Management System (LMS) with results following training sessions.
  • Assess individual engineer skill gaps through various evaluation methods.
  • Construct and maintain training materials and aids.
  • Coordinate with administrative support to ensure classroom and training area availability.
  • Manage the procurement of training literature.
  • Stay informed about all Hyster Yale equipment to maintain product knowledge.
  • Foster strong relationships with service managers to ensure adequate engineer support.
  • Provide weekly attendance reports to the training manager.
  • Deliver monthly summaries of training sessions conducted.
  • Promote and develop e-learning initiatives through designated platforms.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Accredited mechanical or electrical trade apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Proficient in PC applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, email, and internet navigation.
