About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Worker to join our team at our brand new Ashford-based Recovery House. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with enduring mental health needs, who are in crisis.

Our Recovery House provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to receive the help they need to manage their mental health and achieve their recovery goals. As a member of our team, you will work closely with service users to develop personalized support plans, providing guidance and support to help them build confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide recovery-focused support to service users in accordance with their support plans
  • Deliver services and interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner, and recovery-based way
  • Conduct daily record keeping and incident report writing
  • Assist with inducting new staff members
  • Work in a flexible manner on a roster basis, including office hours, evenings, some weekends, and sleep-ins
Requirements

We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and professional individual who is highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support service users with mental health and complex care needs. Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable but not essential. What is important is that you have a genuine desire to support individuals in their recovery and have a can-do attitude.
