About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Worker to join our team at our brand new Ashford-based Recovery House. This residential service provides up to 5 days of support for individuals with enduring mental health needs who are in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide recovery-focused support to service users in accordance with their support plans.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, promoting the well-being and recovery of service users.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service user support plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
Requirements

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who is highly motivated, hardworking, and keen to support service users with mental health and complex care needs. You will have the ability to deliver services and interventions in a person-centered, non-judgmental manner, and recovery-based way.

Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable but not essential. What is important is that you have a genuine desire to support individuals in their recovery and have a can-do attitude.
