Job Title: Development Manager Part Time

About the Role:

The Development Manager Part Time will play a key role in planning, organizing, and directing all of Fleisher's fundraising efforts, with a focus on institutional giving, major gifts, annual fund, planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fund development programs to secure charitable contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual gifts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, board members, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  • Manage and oversee the development team, including training, coaching, and evaluating staff.
  • Develop and implement annual development work plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising, including trends, research, and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of securing major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in constituent management databases and fundraising software.
