The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our fundraising efforts, developing and executing a comprehensive development plan, and building strong relationships with major donors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a strategic development plan to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporations, and foundations to secure significant gifts and support.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Development Committee to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
- Manage and maintain our donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Represent the organization at fundraising events, meetings, and other external engagements.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with donors and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of success in non-profit development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with major donors and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
