About the Opportunity

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fellow to join our esteemed ENT Directorate. This 12-month fixed-term position offers an exceptional opportunity for candidates nearing the completion of their higher surgical training in Otolaryngology.

Your Role

As a Fellow, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive patient care within our dedicated Head and Neck Oncology unit. You will be actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experts to deliver the highest standard of care.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing expert surgical management for patients with head and neck malignancies, including transoral surgery, traditional open ablative procedures, and benign and malignant thyroid/parathyroid disease.
  • Leading the junior clinical team, providing guidance and mentorship to registrars in all aspects of head and neck cancer care.
  • Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to patient management plans.
  • Engaging in research activities, contributing to our ongoing efforts to advance knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
