**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Training Programme Director in Core Surgery Training (West). The successful candidate will support the Head of School in the strategic development of the School of Surgery.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the development of the School's Recruitment and Retention Strategy
* Contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme
* Collaborate with the Head of School to develop and implement a Medical Workforce Strategy
* Commit to equality, diversity, and inclusion

**About the Role**

The Training Programme Director will be a member of the School Board and will work closely with the Head of School to achieve the School's objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of the NHS England's vision and strategy, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
