Job Title: Radiology Training Programme Director

The Radiology Training Programme Director will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of School in driving strategic development and training delivery within the North West School of Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of School in developing and implementing a Medical Workforce Strategy to recruit and retain Radiology Trainees.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School to develop and implement regional education programs.
  • Provide pastoral support to allocated ST year groups, including inductions, mid-point reviews, and ARCP Chair duties.
  • Engage in trainer development activities and participate in the Specialty Training Committee (STC).
  • Attend Board Meetings, STCs, and Away Days to contribute to the development of the School of Radiology.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and strategic development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Head of School and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in training and development, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

Working Arrangements:

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
