Position Overview:

As a Justice System Recovery Facilitator, you will be integral to our operations, providing essential support to individuals navigating their recovery journey. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Assisting clients from their initial engagement with our services through their entire treatment and recovery process.
  • Conducting evaluations, assessments, and creating personalized recovery plans, along with facilitating referrals to additional services.
  • Collaborating with clients to foster social reintegration, empowering them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-advocacy.
  • Leading specialized group sessions or workshops tailored to address the distinct needs of our clients.
  • Engaging in close collaboration and multi-disciplinary teamwork with various professionals and partner organizations, including judicial systems, law enforcement, and probation services.
  • Encouraging involvement from caregivers, clients, and the broader community.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals who possess:

  • A solid understanding of substance misuse challenges and relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong IT proficiency.
  • A proactive approach, capable of working independently while demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit, with strong interpersonal skills to effectively partner with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to information governance and the application of necessary safeguards.
