PRIVATE EQUITY INVESTING
The Private Equity Investing division at Goldman Sachs Asset Management has a rich history spanning over three decades, investing across a diverse range of industries, regions, and transaction types with approximately 100 dedicated investment professionals worldwide. Our flagship fund, West Street Capital Partners VIII, represents a $9.7 billion vehicle focused on long-term capital appreciation by investing in high-quality companies with exceptional management teams and actively fostering their growth and value enhancement.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Associates in Private Equity Investing will play a crucial role in all facets of the investment cycle, including: sourcing, identifying, and assessing appealing investment themes and opportunities; cultivating relationships with management teams, senior advisors, and external industry experts; conducting due diligence; financing, structuring, and finalizing transactions; as well as developing, monitoring, and executing value creation strategies for our existing portfolio companies.
