About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dietitian to lead our Nutrition and Dietetics Service as Clinical Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Nutrition and Dietetics Service
  • Develop and implement service strategies to meet challenging targets and objectives
  • Evidence up-to-date relevant dietetic clinical experience and skills
  • Develop the professional and clinical skills of others through coaching and mentoring
  • Initiate and implement service developments to improve patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with current NHS agenda and its impact on clinical, professional, and business requirements

Person Specification
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • Diploma/Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to Dietetic speciality to Masters level or equivalent
  • Management/leadership qualification or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Membership of Professional body
  • Completed recognised IT course e.g. ECDL/Elite/MOST
  • Experience of leadership and management expertise and knowledge acquired through CPD and experience
  • Knowledge and experience of using standardised assessments and development of relevant outcome measures
