About the Role

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Dietitian to provide clinical leadership for the Nutrition and Dietetic Service. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Nutrition and Dietetic Service
  • Develop and implement service strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
  • Collaborate with senior management teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
  • Lead and manage a team of Dietitians and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Requirements
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • Diploma/Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Post-graduate qualifications relevant to Dietetic speciality to Masters level or equivalent
  • Management/leadership qualification or equivalent
  • Membership of Professional body
  • Completed recognised IT course ECDL/Elite/MOST
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge and experience of using standardised assessments and development of relevant outcome measures
  • Knowledge and understanding of national legislation, guidance and regulatory framework including NSF, NICE, Information Governance, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, Safe Guarding, Professional and Clinical Guidelines
  • Knowledge of Clinical Governance and implications for service area
  • Experience of initiating, implementing and evaluating change
  • Knowledge and evidence of participation in clinical audit and evidence gathering methods
  • Experience of developing and utilising systems of performance management
