Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and direction to the Nutrition and Dietetic Service
- Develop and implement service strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Collaborate with senior management teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Lead and manage a team of Dietitians and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
- Current HCPC Registration
- Diploma/Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Post-graduate qualifications relevant to Dietetic speciality to Masters level or equivalent
- Management/leadership qualification or equivalent
- Membership of Professional body
- Completed recognised IT course ECDL/Elite/MOST
- Knowledge and experience of using standardised assessments and development of relevant outcome measures
- Knowledge and understanding of national legislation, guidance and regulatory framework including NSF, NICE, Information Governance, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, Safe Guarding, Professional and Clinical Guidelines
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance and implications for service area
- Experience of initiating, implementing and evaluating change
- Knowledge and evidence of participation in clinical audit and evidence gathering methods
- Experience of developing and utilising systems of performance management
