Position Overview: A full-time opportunity exists for a dedicated Quality Support Advisor (QSA) to join our Quality team. Reporting directly to the Quality Support Manager, the QSA will provide guidance and assistance to our facilities regarding all aspects of quality assurance, ensuring alignment with our overarching Aims, Objectives, and Vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Managers to develop and implement improvement and action plans, offering support to ensure successful execution, while advising on best practices and sharing insights from other facilities.
  • Conduct routine audits and reviews, providing follow-up assistance to guarantee that all actions and objectives are achieved and sustained.
  • Engage in various support activities, including direct observations, care certificate evaluations, one-on-one meetings, probation assessments, resident evaluations, care plan development, investigations, and internal audits as necessary.
  • Perform regular analysis at the home level on critical quality metrics, generating reports and providing support to address required actions.
  • Review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Regularly assess the quality of care plans to maintain high standards.
  • Facilitate a range of training sessions across our facilities, covering topics such as Moving & Handling, Care Planning, and MCA/DoLS training.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and motivator with a clear understanding of exceptional, personalized care. They will demonstrate flexibility, possess extensive experience in identifying, implementing, and monitoring quality support initiatives, and have robust IT skills. A comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards, the Care Act, and Hartford Care Brand Standards is essential.

Travel Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to travel frequently across the designated region, necessitating a full driving license and a flexible approach to working hours.
