This role is ideal for a professional with a strong understanding of the risks and controls associated with retail banking and lending products.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Head of Internal Audit in providing assurance regarding the controls environment of the bank.
- Develop and implement audit plans to ensure effective risk management and control.
- Conduct audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement audit findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in audit and risk management.
**Requirements**
- Professional audit or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA etc).
- Strong understanding of the risks and controls associated with retail banking and lending products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
