Clinical Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our care teams across various locations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional care and service to our residents.
As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you will work closely with our General Manager to implement action plans that meet the needs of our residents. You will take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, helping to ensure that our care standards are maintained and our teams are motivated and inspired to deliver their best.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits and clinical practice
- Developing and delivering strategies to achieve goals and improve care outcomes
- Working with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every resident receives the best possible quality of life
- Managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
- Supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification. Previous experience of working within a nursing home setting is essential, as is evidence of continual professional development. You will also need to have a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
