This position entails working four days in the office and one day remotely.

Role Summary

In the capacity of Global Brands Finance and Data Analytics Specialist, you will transcend traditional number-crunching roles; you will serve as a strategic innovator and a driving force for commercial excellence. Your contributions will involve developing insightful commercial reports and delivering data-informed recommendations that will influence the trajectory of our varied fragrance portfolio. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your analytical skills will be crucial in enhancing both financial and operational efficiencies across multiple brands and markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze revenue and profitability factors, thereby shaping business and brand strategies.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Profit & Loss statements to provide detailed insights into income sources and potential growth opportunities.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and brand strategy by constructing robust forecasting models that predict market trends.
  • Utilize external data sources to assess market performance, identifying both opportunities and challenges.
  • Guide investment choices by delivering essential financial modeling and analysis, questioning assumptions when necessary.
  • Perform detailed SKU-level profit assessments to inform brand and market strategies.
  • Analyze ROI on media and in-store investments, assisting the Managing Director in establishing consistent KPIs across brands.
  • Lead the evaluation of RFQs for manufacturing, media, and agency partnerships.
  • License Reporting: Oversee and provide analytical support for License contract compliance, with a focus on royalty agreements.
  • Actively participate in multi-disciplinary task forces aimed at enhancing efficiency and business acumen.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional qualifications such as part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or QBE are preferred.
  • A minimum of 4+ years in commercial analytics, financial reporting, or a related role within finance or data analytics.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
