Job Overview

As a Global Brands Finance and Data Analytics Analyst at Designer Parfums, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence across our diverse fragrance portfolio. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your analytical expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Reporting and Analysis: Partner with cross-functional teams to decode revenue and profitability drivers, influencing business and brand strategy.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Master the intricacies of Profit & Loss statements to offer nuanced insights into income drivers and potential growth areas.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion data-driven decision-making and brand strategy by creating robust forecasting models that anticipate market trends.
  • Market Performance Evaluation: Leverage external data sources to evaluate market performance, identifying opportunities and challenges.
  • Investment Decision Support: Steer investment decisions by providing invaluable financial modelling and analysis, challenging assumptions where necessary.
  • SKU-Level Profit Analysis: Conduct meticulous SKU-level profit analysis to inform brand and market strategies.
  • ROI Analysis: Evaluate ROI on media and in-store investments, supporting the Managing Director in establishing uniform KPIs across brands.
  • Licence Reporting and Compliance: Monitor and provide analytics support for Licence contract compliance, specifically focusing on royalty arrangements.
  • Task Force Participation: Contribute proactively to multi-disciplinary task forces aimed at boosting efficiency and business acumen.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Levels or Bachelor's degree in Maths and/or Finance/Business/Economics
  • A minimum of 1+ years in commercial analytics, financial reporting, or a similar role within the finance or data analytics department
  • Expert in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of Profit and Loss Statement is a plus
