Position: Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Clinical Sciences

Location: Liverpool with international travel

LSTM is looking for a committed Post-Doctoral Research Associate to contribute to our Clinical Sciences division in Liverpool. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a leading institution dedicated to education and research in tropical diseases.

The successful applicant will play a key role in advancing person-centred mixed methods research on tuberculosis within two significant research collaborations: LIGHT (Leaving no-one behind: transforming Gendered pathways to Health for TB) and Start4All (Start taking action for TB diagnosis).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Formulating effective strategies for tuberculosis case identification
  • Engaging in research on social determinants of health systems
  • Leading workshops and overseeing key informant interviews
  • Creating shared bibliographic resources
  • Conducting academic writing and disseminating research findings

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a health-related field and have experience in health and development within low-income settings. Proficient research capabilities and a background in academic writing are crucial.
