Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Physician/Specialist Psychiatrist to join our team at MAC Clinical Research. As a Sub-Investigator and Principal Investigator in clinical research studies, you will be responsible for providing medical care and oversight to clinical trial participants in Neuroscience and Adult Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and oversight to clinical trial participants in Neuroscience and Adult Psychiatry
  • Review medical records of potential study participants and review medical reports and lab results
  • Provide training on psychiatric scales for other clinical staff
  • Maintain awareness of chat and screen fails and patient drop-out rates, taking appropriate corrective action
  • Participate in sponsor and regulatory audits as required
  • Provide practical help and guidance to other staff
  • Assist with the development of recruitment strategy with the Envision team as a therapy area specialist
  • Maintain awareness of chat and screen fails and patient drop-out rates, taking appropriate corrective action
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local GPs, Consultants, and service providers

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years post-graduation experience in Psychiatry
  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry (e.g., MRCPsychiatry or Diploma in Psychiatry)
  • CCT/on GMC specialist register for Psychiatry (desirable)
  • Pharmaceutical experience (desirable)
