Advanced Diabetes and Vascular Podiatrist

NHS Western Isles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diabetes and Vascular Podiatrist to join our dedicated team in the picturesque Western Isles of Scotland.
We are committed to providing exceptional patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. As an Advanced Diabetes and Vascular Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in managing the complex needs of patients with diabetes and vascular conditions.
Responsibilities:- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients with diabetic foot ulcers and other at-risk conditions.
- Developing and implementing integrated pathways of care for patients with diabetes and vascular disease.
- Providing education and training to colleagues on best practices in diabetic foot and wound care.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of podiatry services within NHS Western Isles.
Applicants must possess:
- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
- Significant experience in managing diabetic foot and vascular conditions.
- Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
A car owner is essential due to the rural nature of our service area.
